Over 70 SCVCS students, teachers, and family members attended the 2014 Carowinds Education Days on Friday, May 23rd. Students traveled from all over the state and were able to meet up with each other at several meet and greets throughout the day. (See Photos).
Teachers/Staff that attended were: Lorena Hatcher, Darrick Cureton, Justin Wilt, Holly Dowling, Joni Crocker, Jessica Sherbert, Loana Benton, Christopher Williams, Harriet Smith and Christy Wood. Rumor has it that Harriet and Christy rode every single roller coaster in the park! I’m not sure who had more fun- the kids or the teachers! In between riding all the crazy roller coasters and other rides, students could explore Science Stations set up throughout the park. Even though the weather was hot, it was a cool day to explore, have fun, and meet fellow SCVCS families!
