Children of parents who talk to their teens about drugs are 42% less likely to use drugs than those who don’t. yet only a quarter of teens report having these conversations.
Please send photos of how you’re your student(s) participated in drug awareness week to their advisor.
Weekly Events:
Monday: Red Ribbon Day Students are encouraged to wear Red and Make a drug free pact with their friends. Promise to hold each other accountable to it.
Tuesday: Put a Cap On Drugs Students are encouraged to wear their favorite hat today
Wednesday: I am a “Jeanius” to not do Drugs Students are encouraged to wear jeans today.
Thursday: Put a Sock On Drugs Day Students are encouraged to wear their funkiest, silliest, most colorful socks today.
Friday: Team Up Against Drugs and Show Your School Spirit Day Students and faculty are encouraged to wear their favorite sports team shirts or South Carolina Virtual Charter School shirts.
