Grab
your Learning Coach and journey to the
South Carolina State
Museum, 301 Gervais Street, Columbia, SC
Plan
to arrive with your learning coach at 10:00 AM on the dot!
(All students MUST have a
parent, or guardian, accompany them to participate.)
Please
plan to pay admission to the museum, at the door. (No money will be collected
by an SCVCS faculty member.) We will meet and greet in the museum lobby as a
group. Please plan to turn in your
permission slips to Mrs. Knoerr at this time.
Then,
SCVCS students, parents or guardians,
and teachers may meander through the museum at a self-guided pace.
After
you have enjoyed a self-guided tour
of all the treasures the museum has to offer, you are free to enjoy lunch on
your own or with other SCVCS families. There are several dining options,
including Crescent
Café located within the museum, and various restaurants nearby.
