About Me: I have a Master of Education degree in Secondary Education and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics Education from Bob Jones University. After graduation, I began teaching math via satellite for BJ LINC. I have been teaching math at SCVCS since its inaugural year. This is my twelfth year teaching.
Personal Info: I was born in Suwon, South Korea and have lived in several countries including Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia, and the United States. However, most of my childhood was spent in Palm Bay, FL, not too far from the Kennedy Space Center, where my father worked until retirement.
I moved to South Carolina to attend BJU in 1996. It was there that I met the love of my life, Tom, who hails from New York. Tom proposed to me on the top of the Empire State Building (those of you who love the movie An Affair to Remember will appreciate the romantic sentiment.)
Tom and I have been married for ten years and currently live in Greer. We have a three-year old son, Jack, who is the delight of our lives. We are actively involved with our local church. When we have time (and money), we love to travel.
Biggest Pet Peeve: Wow, it's hard for me to name just one pet peeve, because I have several. Rude people comprise my biggest pet peeve. This includes people who don't say "thank you," aggressive-types who ride my bumper, Wal-Martians who block the entire aisle with their shopping carts, etc.
