About Me: I graduated from Camden High in 1971 and went on to the University of South Carolina where I graduated with a BA in English in 1975. I received my MAT in English in 1980. After teaching one year in the Low Country, I returned to my alma mater and taught for 34 years at CHS. Now I am in my third year at SCVCS.
Personal Info: I live in Camden, SC where I help take care of my mother who is in an assisted-living facility. I also score for the CHS volleyball team. I have two daughters, Rachel and Hannah, and one son-in-law, Jimmy. Jimmy and Hannah live in Bremerton, WA where he is in the Navy. Rachel lives in Billings, Montana. I love to travel to visit them. I also have five cats myself and a total of three dogs and four cats with my girls.
Biggest Pet Peeve: My current pet peeve is people who do not use a turn signal when driving. Such nice cars on the road. Aren't turn signals standard equipment?
