I am a graduate of The University of South Carolina with a B.A. in English, Concentration in Writing. I have an M.Ed. from Francis Marion University and I am a National Board Certified Teacher in AYA/ELA. I am in my 9th year of teaching. I have taught in a regular educational setting, an alternative educational setting, and am now a teacher in a virtual educational setting. And, I love it!
Personal Info:
I have been married to my wonderful husband, Kevin for over 6 years. We are a house divided as he is a Clemson graduate and fan and I am a Gamecock. We have two beautiful daughters, Madison (5) and London Grace (2 mos.). I enjoy traveling, camping, reading, writing, gardening, spending time with family and friends, and of course, Gamecock football!
Most Memorable/Embarrassing Moment:
My husband and I met while teaching at the same high school. While dating, we made sure to go out in Columbia, so we wouldn't run into students. One night, we had to stop by Wal-Mart, so we just stopped by the one in our small town. We thought we ran in and out quickly and that no one saw us. Or, I should say, we saw no students. Little did we know, students saw us without us seeing them. Needless to say, it was "out" the next day at school that Coach Knoerr and Ms. Naso were dating!
